THE STORY 🗞️

PARIS. The NFL's first regular-season game in France came down to defense and a piece of history from Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers threw for 212 yards, and his 4-yard touchdown to tight end Darnell Washington was the 540th of his career. That moved him past Peyton Manning into third place on the all-time list. Pittsburgh won 16-10 at Stade de France for its third straight win and moved to 5-2.

Jaylen Warren did the heavy lifting on the ground with 101 rushing yards and 137 yards from scrimmage. Chris Boswell kicked three field goals.

Tyler Shough threw for 278 yards for New Orleans, but the Saints had nothing on the ground. They ran for 18 yards all game, which left Shough throwing into a defense that knew what was coming.

THE REST OF SUNDAY 🏈

The bigger shock came in Atlanta. The Falcons forced four turnovers and beat San Francisco 29-20, ending the 49ers' unbeaten run. Cincinnati rolled past Baltimore 35-13 as the Ravens played a third straight game without Lamar Jackson.

OUR TAKE 🐶

Pittsburgh is not winning pretty, but it is winning. Three straight victories, a 100-yard day from Warren and a defense that took away New Orleans' run game entirely is a formula that travels, even to Paris.

Rodgers passing Manning is the line people will remember. Only two players have more touchdown passes, and he is still adding to the total in his 40s.
