Why Overseas Producers Can't Undercut Atlas Salt, Even for Free

Cities are already running short on road salt, and winter hasn't even started. Some supply bids are going unanswered, prices have nearly doubled in parts of the market, and the backup plan is two weeks away by boat. Here's why Atlas Salt (TSXV: SALT | OTCQX: SALQF) can get salt to the people who need it most, faster and cheaper than anyone shipping from overseas:

• Three days by ship to Boston, not fourteen

• Shallow deposit that's cheaper and faster to mine

• Projected C$188M a year in free cash flow

• Export Development Canada interested in lending C$150M

• Early supply deal with top U.S. salt distributor

Miami kept the top spot with 62 of 70 first-place votes after surviving North Carolina. The Buckeyes are 6-2.

USC jumped 13 spots to No. 18 on the back of that win. South Carolina climbed seven places to No. 23, New Mexico is in at No. 22 at 7-1, and Florida slid eight spots to No. 25.

NORVELL OUT AT FLORIDA STATE 🔥

Florida State fired Mike Norvell on Sunday, a day after a 36-24 home loss to Clemson dropped the Seminoles to 3-5. Rick Stockstill, the program's director of scouting and a former head coach at Middle Tennessee, takes over as interim coach. The AP reported that Norvell's buyout is close to $50 million.
