OUR TAKE 🐶

Liverpool FC are in trouble. Currently they have 1 Available striker with no confirmed plans to sign another striker. The current Winger shortage of Liverpool FC should’ve been fixed in July however they decided to leave it until last minute and now they are in trouble.

DawgHouseNews believe that the issues that Liverpool are having is due to the poor performance of their sporting director Richard Hughes. Here’s our main argument :

FSG and Hughes argue that they must be careful about how they handle money and how they spend the money. However, Liverpool allowed Konate, Trent-Alexander-Arnold (Un-replaced), Andy Robertson (Un-replaced), Mo Salah (Un-replaced) to leave as free agents just this year. All of these players together are worth an estimated £147m which would pay for Liverpool to sign Bradley Barcola. On that topic, Liverpool have almost completed their signing of Bradley Barcola, which we believe to be a mistake.

For clarification, we understand that Barcola would be the best Left Winger for Liverpool since Sadio Mane however currently Liverpool have Rio Ngumoha, Cody Gakpo, Víctor Muñoz and now Bradley Barcola as left wing specific players and only Víctor Muñoz as a player who can play on the right. Liverpool have yet to replace Mo Salah with a Bona-Fide Right Winger and instead are aiming to sign another Left Winger and a Striker (Sarr). Here is what we think their best option is.

Outgoings :
Cody Gakpo

Incomings :
Lamine Camara
Bradley Barcola
Mbaye
Sarr (Bench Striker)
1 More CDM

This obviously will not happen. Liverpool are planning on signing Barcola and keeping Gakpo which means Gakpo and Ngumoha will be competing with Barcola to play and Barcola will be playing alongside an out of position Ngumoha or Víctor Muñoz. This is poor from Liverpool.
